They have finally published their book! It's called A Billion Wicked Thoughts: What the World's Largest Experiment Reveals about Human Desire.
I'm wondering if the title change was due to some marketing guru deciding it would be a more "sellable" name, or if they were trying to avoid everyone searching for the "Rule 34: What Netporn Tells Us About the Brain" title. And maybe it's just me, but the published title reminded me immediately of A Million Little Pieces, which is probably more accurate than this garbage.
From the product description on Amazon:
Maverick, that's such a polite way to put it.
...
As of the time I'm posting this, it has a 4-star rating, consisting of two 5-star reviews, one 4-star review, and a single 2-star review - the only one that brings up any question about their research. (The reviewer questions their research when he realizes they equate all anime with hentai, "akin to saying that all magazines are pornographic".)
Folks, it's been on sale TWO DAYS already! Why on earth hasn't fandom started posting reviews yet? I fully expect this to be down to at most two stars by the end of the weekend!
ETA: I'd like to encourage people to get the word out on this - I know I don't have a lot of readers, but the more people who know the more people who will take action.

... by strangely overlapping with and enforcing conventional, gender-essentialist assumptions about human sexuality! Amazing.
I'm sad there are no tags yet on that page. On Amazon.co.uk, they were hilarious ("phds written in crayon", "your sample population hates you now", "mansplaining", "pt barnum would be proud").

I plan on hitting the page tonight or tomorrow - I'm only online for a few minutes at a time as I do other stuff, and will be leaving for most of the day soon, but I look forward to seeing what happens!
